A Pitt Meadows Wedding- Antoinette & Matthew
Antoinette and Matthew found me through WeddingWire back in 2020! With ups and downs, they had to push back their big day so they could do it exactly the way they wanted, with the people they loved. Fast forward TWO YEARS and they’re finally married! They were able to stick out the wait and pull off the wedding that they always envisioned.
The Ceremony
A Pitt Meadows wedding can’t be done right without a gorgeous outdoor ceremony setting. Of course, if you’re inside that’s completely alright, but there’s just something about being outside right by the river that takes the cake! With no getting ready images for these two, we went straight into saying “I DO!”.
Antoinette and Matthew are both musicians! This meant they HAD to have live music for their ceremony, and of course their reception later into the night. There may or may not be a performance by the bride and groom…I guess you’ll have to read on to find out!
Guests took their seats on the deck that faces out towards the beautiful Fraser River, then the magic started! Tears were shed as the couple’s family and friends got to see them become husband and wife after years of waiting.
After the signing to make it OFFICIAL, we had some unexpected guests drive, or shall I say float, by congratulating the couple with shouts and cheering!
The Bridal Party
While guests headed to the South Bonson Community Centre for cocktail hour, we dove right into bridal party portraits! There are a few different great locations on the fraser river near this area, so we chose some greenery (where family photos had happened) and then of course the main dock itself.
The Portraits
These two have such an amazing connection! They’re definitely not shy, most likely from being on stage regularly, and were holy happy with being in the moment together.
The Reception
With us being right on time, we sped off to the reception for the couples entrance! Speeches, dinner, and a first dance with a live band followed.
The Performance
Once all scheduled events were finished the couple stepped up to the stage to play together as husband and wife! They absolutely killed it, even a few drinks in! Antoinette is a singer/songwriter AND producer, if you’d like to see more check out her music online as @nettesongs. These two got the party started and the dance floor was filled after that!
Right before we were to pack up, we finished the night off with a bouquet toss and Antionette’s mother singing us out! Let’s just say this whole family has a lot of musical talent!
The end of our night
I cannot begin to explain how fun this day was! Antoinette and Matthew had the best Pitt Meadows Wedding and I’m so happy they were able to have it exactly the way they wanted. Being able to capture these two and all their lively guests was a party itself. All the best and make sure to steam Antoinette’s music as a wedding present!
